Frontier - A Shout-Out To The Crew

Established in 1989 as a non-profit conservation and development non-governmental organisation (NGO), Frontier is dedicated to safeguarding biodiversity and ecosystem integrity and building sustainable livelihoods for marginalised communities in the world's poorest countries.

Below is one of many blog posts in which was written for Frontier Gap during my time as their Field Communications Officer.

De la boats! From my first week here I have been blessed to have met some of the best filming crew around. The cherry on top of any boat ride or experience around the world, especially when you are off at sea to look at whales and dolphins, is the crew. Here, in association with Neptune Boats, there is an incredible team of guys and girls who create incredibly beautiful films and take picturesque photos for the incredible trip you have undertaken. I needed to dedicate and write a post just to them! If you do come to Tenerife, in Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje, you will find Neptune Boats, who works with media companies including as MyVideoi and more. Some of whom have been videographers for over 40 years. This includes one man called Patrick who has been behind the camera since he was 16. He has always travelled around the globe capturing moments, from weddings to whale watchers, but he has stayed in Tenerife for 11 years. This proves how seeing whales, dolphins and other sea creatures can affect your career, your life and where you would live and travel to. When I interviewed him, he simply stated he wouldn’t change anything about his life and experience for the world.   This post is dedicated to you guys! Goodbye for now, see you on the next boat ride.
